I'm Lynda. My friends call me Lynda Lou, but you may know me as @Lyndadidit. I'm a hair stylist, make up artist, educator, and influencer located at Cut Me Up Studio in Riverdale, Utah.

I have always had a head-on approach with many of the things that I do in life- but especially art. In my artistry, I have always seemed to gravitate towards what would challenge me the most. Deep down, I always knew my art couldn't be what I wanted until I understood what I was creating on a deeper, more scientific level. I have since been on a quest to learn every possible thing I can to elevate my artistry and wellbeing so that I may be able to extend all of these lessons to aspiring, like-minded artists around me!
Although I'm in love with all aspects of hair, I find myself completely infatuated with color, cutting, extensions, and all of the science that goes on behind the scenes. There isn't a challenge that I won't accept. ( Except perms. Hell no.)

My clients will always find that their comfort is my first priority when sitting in my chair. I have a full snack and drink station, heated towels, an air purifier, an adjustable vent, music of their choice, books to read, and so much more.
​
Hair is such a large passion of mine but there's nothing I love more than teaching others how to use their own magic to boost their confidence behind the chair and self image. Whether I'm teaching a technique on a model, helping you navigate yourself as an artist throughout the industry or you're a client in my chair ready to make a change on your beautiful hair- Just know that I'm here to be the bridge to your end goal. I wouldn't have any of the things that I do today if it weren't all of the people who have loved and supported me and my craft. It's for that very reason that I strive to do my very best to deliver the highest quality of hair with the comfortability of being 110% yourself.

I also find so much fulfillment in sharing my craft on my favorite social media platforms. Whether I'm creating educational content, before and after process videos, or a good ol' fashioned GRWM- I freakin' love it all, man!!!

I have truly found myself through the art of hair. I have been awarded with Best Extension Application alongside my two team mates during Battle of the Strands, Two-time winner for Salt Lake Beauty and Barber Expo, and have made Top 100 for Behindthechair Oneshot Hair Awards in the categories Shag, Natural Texture, and funny video in 22', Top 100 10X's 23', Top 25 2X's 23', Top 5 for the Shag/mullet category for 23'. I remain overly grateful for this life that I have created for myself and my family and I'll never stop chasing the stars.

My future goals consist of being able to help other artist around me grow through the love of art and hair. I want to create my own online curriculum that can help artists of all backgrounds. Until then, keep an eye out for my Bold and Bright classes coming to a state near you!
