About Lynda:
I began my journey as an independent educator in March of 2022. During this time, I wasn't fully aware of what I would really be signing up for, but I now know this is one of many callings I have in my life.

Providing quality, affordable education to artists has been a goal of mine since I began my journey in this industry back in 2015. I had many events take place in my life and career that could have stopped me (and sometimes they certainly did) from working toward my passions.
​
However, any efforts I had put toward the first 6 years of my career had come to a screeching halt.
​
In 2021, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy having Grand Mal seizures aka Tonic Clonic seizures as well as partial seizures. There are over 40+ seizure types and my worst ones I had would cause me to go completely unconscious, convulse, drool profusely and cause difficulty breathing. This, as well as the medication affected my memory, mental health, energy, and overall career/life. I remember the pit in my stomach I had after learning that I had it.
My immediate first thought was,' Will I be able to do it? I just begged my husband to quit his job and now I have this terrifying disability, probably for life. I don't want to traumatize anyone with my seizures... What the hell am I going to do?!'

Doctors were, unfortunately, not much help. The dynamic of the hospital typically played out as resource for me to find some sort of band aid solution for my life-altering, gut-punching disability. This pushed me into what was the darkest 2 years of my life but contrastingly also it sparked the beginning of a revolution within myself.
​
Despite any of that, I knew I had a mission to accomplish and I wasn't about to allow my disability to stop me from being able to provide for my family. All I've ever wanted was to create a positive impact on those around me and somehow, some way, I always knew I'd make that happen.
​
After considering everything, I took the risk of starting my first unofficial indie education tour in March of 2022. I called it "Bold and Bright," and this was in Las Vegas, NV (pictured).
​
With the help of the hosts, brand sponsors, family, friends, and most importantly, my husband- I accomplished a lot regardless of my epilepsy.
​
I'm proud to say I successfully ended my last "Bold and Bright" class in October of 2024.
I would like to also add that as of 01/11/2024 I am seizure-free and more motivated than ever to create a difference in the beauty industry. However, I know I'm only one person. I can only do so much on my own... And if I want to truly make an impact in this industry, I'm going to have to really double down on this and create a community of people who are just as eager to create a difference as I am.

Then the Learn With Us tour was born.
Learn With Us Tour 2025
My overall goal with the Learn With Us tour is to change the lives of hairstylists around the country through education and opportunities that arise within the industry. It is with the best interest of the beauty community that we create an environment that fosters growth for everyone involved. Whether you show up as an attendee, assistant, educator, sponsor, or host- I want to watch you grow. I want to watch you succeed. I want to watch you take a vacation from the hard work you pour into yourself and your careers. All in all, I want to watch you LIVE. Not survive.

​We now more than ever need to connect with intentions of love, light, and integrity. I'm here to do my best to try to make that happen. I am confident that together, we can make this happen.
​
If you are considering attending any of the classes for the 2025 tour, I sincerely urge you to invest in yourself and your career. This educational tour is composed of many educators who are from many different walks of this industry and we'll be going over a plethora of topics. They all have many different genres of education available for your gain and I'm also pretty sure every single one of us has ADHD so if anyone gets you, it's us.
​
That said, we collectively understand the undeniable need for accessibility for stylists with different needs. For this reason, we will make sure to keep plenty of snacks, drinks, fidget toys, notebooks, and multi-colored pens as well as lunch will be provided at the class to supply our attendees with everything they need to learn as much as they can while maintaining a level and sound mind!
There will also be swag bags filled with products and goodies designated to your class of choice. Each educator has their own developed taste for the tools and products they've used over the years, and we are so excited to be able to share them with you all!

​This class is unlike any hair class you've attended before. Having navigated numerous challenges in both life and the industry, I believe it’s crucial to provide not only the knowledge of the tools needed for great hair but also mental strategies to help manage the tough thoughts and emotions that arise when we feel drained. We may each have different backgrounds, but we all encounter obstacles that can hold us back. Beyond hair, fostering a caring community is vital, and I aspire to inspire stylists worldwide to confront their struggles with confidence and ambition so that we can grow collectively.
